Thank you!

imageI just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all the people who have visited What’s Cooking with Jim. It means a lot to me that so many of you have visited my website. Thank you, I really appreciate the support and I wanted to say thank you for all the feedback I’ve gotten thus far.

This food blog started on a Sunday morning when my family was just finishing up with breakfast. My youngest daughter Mackenzie said, “Daddy, you should have a food blog.”

What she said planted a seed in my head that wasn’t going away. She was right because I’m passionate not only about food; but baking, cooking, and even cake decorating.

With the help of my darling wife Natalie I was working on building my website that night. The funny thing is I knew nothing about putting together a website, so this has been a huge learning experience for me. It took me almost nine months from when I started creating this to last Saturday (June 28th) when I officially launched What’s Cooking with Jim.

I think I would like to add some videos to the site, probably sooner than later. I’m not talking about a long video where I make an entire dish with me yelling ‘BAM’ while I ‘kick it up a notch’, but just some short videos demonstrating how to do quick things like making a crepe, cutting a mango, making whip cream. In fact I want to start taking video tomorrow!

I will be regularly posting recipes on this website, but I would like to hear from you! What type of recipes would you like to see? Go to my contact page and send me an email letting me know.     I just made the honey glaze carrots tonight with dinner, everybody devoured them. they were so good I am planning on making them for Thanksgiving dinner as well. thank you so much for sharing.

    I made these for dinner tonight and they were absolutely scrumptious I plan on making them for Thanksgiving dinner as well thank you so much for sharing
